TERMS AND CONDITIONS of booking Roy as your Wedding Photographer

 

In the following terms & conditions "the photographer" shall mean Roy Wilson trading as Euro Photographic. "The client(s)" shall be defined as the bride and groom. 

 

Booking: A non-refundable Booking Fee/ Deposit ** secures the time and services of the photographer for your wedding and is nonrefundable or transferable in the event of cancellation by the client(s). It being the agreed loss suffered by the photographer due to cancellation. The booking fee will be deducted from the cost of the client's chosen package when calculating the final balance due. Payment in full of the remaining balance will be due either on or before your wedding day.  Weddings that are postponed to a later date will retain the fee as long as the photographer can re-schedule for the new date and time. It is the clients responsibility to fully check their details on their *bookings page. By paying your deposit you are confirming there are no known mistakes on your *bookings page. Your *bookings page holds your payment confirmation and can be printed out for your records.*Bookings Page Payment Package information are held online on your Bookings page. It is the Client(s)responsibility to make sure all dates, times, contact details on your Bookings page are correct before paying your deposit.

 

Cancellation: The Client may cancel at any time by giving written notice to The Photographer but in doing so shall forfeit any monies paid.  All cancellations must be in writing.(email, text and facebook messager included), but security questions will be asked to confirm your identity.

 

Display: With permission from The client(s) The Photographer can display photos of the clients wedding on social media, and/or published material.Images.All images will be representative of Roy Wilson`s work and style as a photographer. They will reflect the quality of his work from his full portfolio, which includes a mixture of different styles.

 

Copyright: The copyright of the images belongs to the Clients(s). With permission The Photographer may use images for business use.

 

Force Majeure or Act of God: The due performance of this contract is subject to alteration or cancellation by the photographer owing to any cause beyond his control, this includes, natural disasters, and World Pandemics.

 

Attendance: In the unlikely event of The Photographer being unable to attend your wedding due to unforeseen circumstances, he reserves the right to appoint another photographer to attend your wedding on his behalf to undertake the wedding photography to his/her best ability.If another photographer cannot be sourced for whatever reason, a full refund of any monies paid by the client(s) will be refunded by The Photographer.

 

Limitation of Liability: In the unlikely event of a total photographic failure or cancellation of this contract by either party or in any other circumstance the liability of one party to the other shall be limited to the total value of the contract. Neither party shall be liable for indirect or consequential loss.

 

Personal Accident: Any directions issued to clients, their guests or employees during a photographic shoot are deemed to be at said persons own risk. The photographer cannot be held responsible for any personal accidents during a photographic shoot.

 

Governing Law: This agreement shall be governed in accordance with the laws of Scotland.

Your Deposit and how we calculate it.

 

To book your wedding with Roy from Euro Photographic you are required to pay a non-refundable £200 deposit, which is also called your booking fee. Your deposit isn`t just an advanced payment, but includes all the necessary costs involved in preparing for your wedding. A breakdown of your deposit is as follows:

 

Advertising costs which are spent acquiring your wedding. £72

Paypal fees when you pay your deposit £7

New equipment costs and maintenance £91

Time involved in taking your booking and holding your date £30

 

 

These costs are calculated from a breakdown Roys tax returns and are based on him photographing an average of 100 weddings per year. 

 


In the event that you have to postpone your wedding, you can use your original deposit to transfer it to a different date. This is free of charge. Before you confirm your new date with your venue, you must contact Roy to check his available dates. If you book a new date that Roy isn`t available for, your deposit will not be refunded. 

 

If your wedding completely cancels for any reason, and you choose not to pursue a new date, your deposit will not be refunded. 

 

If Roy has to cancel your wedding, even if its outwith his control (an example of this would be if he falls ill ) Then your deposit and any monies paid would be refunded without question.
